Introduction
Paradise Poker was one of the first online poker rooms, but when poker became illegal in the US they chose to sell Paradise Poker to Sportingbet in 2004. Paradise Poker was moved from their own platform joining IPN (International Poker Network) to improve traffic at the tables which just wasn’t the same after they lost all their US players. A great choice as IPN has some of the softest games around.
Cash games
Good traffic across most stakes but mainly concentrated in Texas Hold’em. You’ll meet many terrible players here which is definately the most positive aspect about Paradise Poker.
Tournaments
Decent tournament action for average players, but if you’re looking for massive pricepools you might be better off elsewhere. The level is very low, so grabing the price should be easier than at most other poker rooms.
Support
SportingBet provides very professional support in many different languages. Use the live chat for urgent issues or give them a call for more personal assistance. The email support don’t provide instant replies, but it’s the best option if your problem is rather complicated.
Software
The software is very simple and user-friendly. You have all the most important features such as a hand history, notes and statistics, and several different currencies to choose from. The baby blue graphics of Paradise Poker are very pleasant.
