Hi asger, need your urgent help. As I was signing up for the Sep contest, I was keying in my new 10Bet account name but because of my iPhone auto text prediction function, it went through as 'dealing' instead of 'delong'. Can help to reset my sign up since I did not make any picks after the wrong sign-up? I tried to key in '10Bet - delong' again but it brought me to a page showing I had already signed up for the contest ( with the wrong bookmaker username)

Hi asger, yes that's right. But after I entered that and clicked Join Contest, I was directed to a page to enter my Betscout username again and Bet365 username when I did not even sign up for Bet365. So is it considered that I am already in the Sep contest and can ignore the redirected page?

Just to give more details..when I saw the wrong username 'dealing' processed, I immediately clicked cancel and resubmitted using the correct '10bet-delong' but not sure if '10bet-dealing' had already gone through. On hindsight, since what you saw was '10bet-delong', I guess it should be correct. But just puzzled why was I directed to key in my usernames for (1)Betscout and (2)Bet365 when I did not sign up for Bet365. I guess I will just proceed to place my bets then.. unless you advise otherwise :) Perhaps if I really do win, maybe you can help to confirm that the winnings are credited to userrname 'delong' in 10bet and not to 'dealing' :P

Oh, I know now. You landed on http://www.betscout.com/contest/join/14 for some reason. But yes, just ignore that page. It's the same form and functionality, but 'Bet365 username' is just text from an old contest, since people don't see this subpage no more. Normally :)

10bet - delong will be credited if you win yes ;)

I wish to give a feedback that if there is server downtime and the website cannot be accessed at certain times, could there be a notification to all members in advance? This is because sometimes members may wish to place bets just before the start of the game but due to website down, they do not have a chance to do so. Once the website is up again, the match has already started.

@ delong - each day around 5am GMT there is a short downtime, while the site updates. Other than that, there should be no downtime. When did the site not work for you?

@ taboof - What match are you referring to? We can always correct odds-errors and don't want no cheating.

You should make some odds checker, like some difference between the min and the max odd, and if its to high, remove it. I noticed that there are often wrong odds, like taboof said, and nobody said anything because we all toke those wrong odds at least once, and are pissed if they missed to take it... like taboof :) and me. But that is not ok, i didnt said anything but before but i will report them from now on.

Yea, it's mainly a Sportingbet error. I'm reporting this issue, but there will always be errors with millions of odds.

We are actually working on a feature like the one you're mentioning betnoob. Mainly for finding valuebets, but I can see we need to integrate a feature to locate and report these odds with too big a difference. Not right around the corner tho..

I have deleted a bunch of these odds now, so some have been hurt by this. I think it got all the errors, but will check more over the next week + keep an eye out for errors.

So people please don't take odds that are clearly errors.. Picks on these odds will be deleted, so it wont help you anyway. Just more work for me, although I'm happy to find these errors :)

Thanks for all the notifications!! I have deleted all the picks in mention and stats have been corrected. Looks like some of the bookmakers put 1st half o/u in Full event o/u feed. hi, I don't know why you delete my picks of am. football and handball. EXample: I do an odd for hometeam (7.80) by tipico and for the other team using another bookmaker (8.50). They are 2 different bookmaker, is not a my error, is a different valutation for the same match. I know that in these contitions is sure that I win, but not for a my decision. I do a bit using the odds You propose. Let me know.

Hey. The problem has been that bet365 placed their home win odds in the away win category. So the odds were simply misplaced, and picks with clear errors will be deleted. These errors are indeed not your fault, and I think the problem with the misplaced odds have been solved now.

There can be cases where a surebet is possible, maybe odds 2.14 (home) + 2.08 (away) - but when you see odds 12 + 14 then you know it's an error for sure. Even if bookmakers actually have these (misplaced) odds, they will also void the bets. So we're just doing the same any bookmaker would do. All the deleted picks were clear errors / misplaced odds.

I'm sorry for all the confusion. I understand your concern because we should not have misplaced odds at all.

Sorry, no one has received prizes yet. I am still waiting for some of the bookmakers to verify the accounts. Pinnacle tol me Umricaci had not joined via our links, but directly at Pinnacle. So he will unfortunately not get his prize, and the winnings of the rest depend on whether or not these accounts are verified.

and my registration ? It's all right? and a second question: is I week that I try to log in bet3000 website but now in my country (italy) is not possible. in order to a new low, the bookmaker that don't have an italian licence couldn't have a website on line. Hi Ledrino, I have not been able to verify your account, but I understand that bet3000 does not accept Italian customers. You could not know that since we have not reviewed bet3000, but that is clearly why we could not see you registration. You can get your money at Moneybookers or PayPal instead.

HI. In July when I have registred my account via betscout, bet3000 was available. It's since 10 days that in Italy I can't log in in the Bet3000 website cause the actually lows do not permit. So please if possible, use my email address to send me my money at Paypal account. My new registration is now with Betclic, this bookmaker had all italian authorization and license so it is able to work in italy. Let me know please if, how and when you decided to pay the win. @ Umricaki - The prizes will go to charity - the members below you in the summer contest :) I'm really sorry that your registration was not tracked if you registered through Betscout. Delete your internet cookies before your next signup, and it will definitely be tracked. I can see you actually joined the September contest with your Pinnacle account again, but you need a new account for each monthly contest so please pick a new bookmaker and you will stay in this contest ;)

Yes, I have never had much profit with o/u, but I don't pay enough attention to lower leagues, though that's where the money often is at. But of course, it's not just picking over on everything, research and knowing the teams and matchups is important and some are better with that than others ;)

asqer, ofcourse its important to know team's stats, but there are some leagues that every match almost always go over, like Netherlands, Austrian, or Norway 2. league.

Yea, we need a chat room, and also a general / off-topic forum. We will get that in october/november, but I'm just not sure if it should be a chat for each match.. I think we will make a general chat which we can see no matter where we are on the site.
